At RCSA Elementary, we are proud to offer Science Olympiad for students in grades 3–5. Science Olympiad is a national academic program that gives students a chance to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on, team-based challenges and competitions. The program builds foundational skills that prepare students for continued success at the middle and high school levels while encouraging curiosity and a love of learning.

During the year, students work together to research scientific concepts, build devices, solve problems, and apply what they’ve learned in competitive events. Teams compete with other schools in events that span life science, physical science, earth and space science, engineering, and technology. These challenges emphasize teamwork, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Our Science Olympiad team has a history of strong competition, earning many wins over the years and reflecting the dedication both students and staff bring to academic excellence. Participation is selective and competitive, and students who join gain valuable experience working with peers and extending their learning beyond the classroom.

Science Olympiad competitions are a wonderful way for students to take their science skills to the next level while building confidence and pride in their accomplishments.
